Duncan Heger is a commercial and documentary director born and raised in the Pacific Northwest. The son of a carpenter and a social worker, his work elicits both a grounded and emphatic emotional tone.

As a former collegiate football player, he traded in a football for a camera and returned to the field to work with athletes such as Cooper Kupp, James Conner, Jared Goff, and Carson Wentz. His longstanding relationships with celebrity athletes has led to commercial directing work with the NFL, Microsoft, the American Red Cross, and many more.

His social issues documentaries span topics from the struggle of indigenous persons in Hawaii to undocumented immigrants in North Carolina. Above all, Duncan is driven by the notion of capturing history… one story at a time.
